PTA Announcements for the week of December 11 1) The PTA will be hosting a Winter Wonderland Experience on Friday, December 15 from 2-4pm on the AVCS Field. There will be hot chocolate and cookies while supplies last. Waterproof shoes and gloves are recommended. 2) The Student Council has announced a school-wide Pajama Spirit Day on Friday, December 15. All students and staff are invited to wear pajamas to celebrate Spirit Day. 3) This Friday, December 15 is the last day of school before Winter Break. It will be a minimum day. School will resume on Tuesday, January 10. It too will be a minimum day. 3) AVCS TK-6th Grade 2024 yearbooks are on sale. Pre-ordered yearbooks are $35. At the end of the school year, the price increases to $45. Order early and save! To submit your school photos for inclusion in the yearbook email [email protected] or upload them directly to the Google Drive. Please indicate your student's grade and the event in the email subject or photo title. Year book Howl-Outs are available for purchase online for $5 each. Howl-Outs are 1/8-page, 150-character personal messages dedicated to your student that will be printed in the yearbook. PTA Announcements for the week of December 4 1) Please join us for a Gourmet Coffee & Donuts Fundraiser on Monday December 4 with Hot Bevs Coffee & Tea Co. Their truck will be on campus from 7:45am- 9:45am. A portion of all proceeds from this coffee stop will be given back to our school. 2) The Holiday store will be at school this week from December 4 - December 8 during school hours. Your child's teacher will communicate to you on which day their class will be going. Ahead of your shopping day you will receive a flyer/ money envelope to send back to school with your child. You can also pre-purchase a digital gift card if you prefer not to send money. Students will only be visiting the shop on their shopping day. We will not be holding preview days this year.
