Kindergarten & New Student Enrollment for the 2021-22 School Year
Enrollment opens for the 2021-22 school year on March 15, 2021.
Registration for new students can be submitted online on the Chula Vista Elementary School District’s website from March 3rd. Use this link to access the online enrollment page.
To be eligible for kindergarten, students must be five (5) years old on or before September 1st 2021 or five (5) years old between September 2nd and December 2nd 2021 for transitional kindergarten and must currently reside within the boundaries of the Chula Vista Elementary School District. For Preschool students, please visit the Early Childhood Education web page.
Along with submitting your registration information online, you will need to upload copies of the following:
Zone Transfers
If you are requesting to transfer to a school other than your neighborhood school you will need to submit a zone transfer request form with your application.
Are you considering Spanish Dual Immersion?
Please be sure to check the box when you register if you are considering this program for your child. An information session will be available for parents before classes are formed allowing parents to ask questions and learn more about the program. - your child’s birth certificate
- their complete immunization record
- parent photo ID
- Parent’s proof of residency – current and dated within 60 days (click here for accepted documents)
- Also notify the school if there are special education documents, special health concerns or court/custody documents.
