Monday, May 31 – No School in honor of Memorial Day Residency VerificationResidency verification will take place online this year. All students returning to any school in the Chula Vista Elementary School District for the 2021/22 school year are required to show proof of residency at their school of attendance before the start of school in order for their child’s name to be placed on a class list. If you have moved out of our area, and would like to continue at Arroyo Vista, you must contact the office to receive a Zone Transfer document. You will be receiving an email that will contain a unique “Snap Code” for each of your children enrolled at Arroyo Vista and a link to the website where you will be able to update information for your child and upload your residency for the 21/22 school year. Here’s to a great week! Building a Foosball Table with Coach RamirezWe invite you and your students to join us for our next live weekly event, Building a Foosball Table, led by our teacher at the Health Station, Coach Ramirez. In this session, students will build their very own foosball table and create their own live game where they take on the role of an announcer, calling all the action of the game. Then, they will be able to participate in a live Kahoot! game to show what they have learned.
Once again, the event is designed to be for all ages and is open to the public. It will begin at our new time, 12 PM, and will be hosted on the Microsoft Teams platform, which is accessible through any web browser, regardless of whether or not someone has a district Microsoft account or the Microsoft Teams app. Spanish translation of the English event will also be available. Please share the links below to support your students and families in joining and accessing whichever broadcast they prefer. We have also attached flyers (as a JPG and PDF) for both the English broadcast and Spanish translation broadcast that can be shared with families on whichever platform you utilize to communicate with them.
